THE BLOCK 2023: MASTER BEDROOMS WEEK
It’s Master Bedrooms week at THE BLOCK and huge reveals arrived with stunning spaces by each of the teams plus a huge cash prize for the winning team!
This space is always one to look forward to across all the seasons as it has to be the grandest and most luxurious of all bedrooms and the teams definitely did not disappoint in this season.
KYLE AND LESLIE
With the mentality of “Bigger is Better”, the team spent more than expected as they knocked out walls to extend space and create a massive area.
Applying the same “curvealicious” design across the home, the bedroom features archways on headboard, shelves and soft details on furniture like our very own Rocco chair.
This cosy seating nook facing the window, was added to appreciate the sunlight while lounging and sipping on some tea. The judges however, felt like it could have been a good use of space. You can’t deny how good this area looks though! The Rocco chair adds so much softness and coziness to the whole room. We’d love to spend time here. The couple still received great reviews for their wardrobe along with other details in the room.
GIAN AND STEPH
Bigger than Kyle and Leslie’s are Steph and Gian’s, with the biggest masters bedroom and walk-in robe in Block history!
The judges thought the room was close to perfection, being not over the top, yet still feel like a high end luxury hotel. From the glorious lighting to the neutral palette, the layout, styling and more, the room received nothing but praises and its no question why!
Besides the glorious wardrobe that is pure luxury, superstar judge, Shaynna Blaze, fell in love with the lounge area of the bedroom, including our Kole Armchair.
We love how the armchair breaks the bold warmth and dark accents that the team styled the lounge with, creating balance while adding a subtle texture to the rest of the space.

Here’s a bonus! We also spotted one of our Ceramic vases in Eliza and Liberty’s bedroom.
As tiny as it may look, The reed vessel was a good addition to balance out the pops of colours used throughout the room and tie in the light and airy feel they wanted to achieve.
